PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of an electroless nickel plating liquid to be discharged by elongating its service life.;SOLUTION: The method for elongating the service life of an electroless nickel plating liquid comprises a process where an electroless nickel plating liquid comprising a nickel salt as metal ions, a malic acid as a complexing agent, and a hypophosphite as a reducing agent is used, and, while replenishing the electroless nickel plating liquid with the metal ions, the complexing agent, and the reducing agent, a nickel alloy film is formed on the body to be plated. The method for elongating the service life of an electroless nickel plating liquid is characterized in that the molar ratio of the organic acids/nickel in the electroless nickel plating liquid is controlled to 2.0 to 3.0.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
