PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack monitor sensor, capable of precisely and properly monitoring the crack of a concrete structure, of which the crack must be detected corresponding to the tolerance crack level of the structure of each kind, and a method for monitoring the cracks of the concrete structure.;SOLUTION: In the crack monitor sensor of the concrete structure, a metal wire is embedded and fixed in a curing material so that the periphery of the metal wire is covered with the curing material so as to be fixed and the elongation capacity, originally possessed by the metal wire alone, is suppressed to form a structure easily broken by tensile force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
