The prosthesis has a femoral implant (2) forming two lateral condyles defining a concave femoral throchlea (11). A tibial implant (3) has a tibial base (14) and an articular plate (21) with a convex median spine. The condyles and the glenoid cavities of the plate have interior parts whose radius of curvature is more than the radius of curvature of posterior parts (101, 241) to ensure posterior stabilization.
