Automobile i.c. engine comprises two cylinders each axially delimited at top by cylinder head having exhaust gas evacuation channel to exhaust manifold comprising manifold chamber connected to common exhaust gas evacuation orifice
The i.c. engine comprises two cylinders with parallel axes. Each cylinder is axially delimited at the top by a cylinder head (24) which comprises an exhaust gas evacuation channel (20) directed towards an exhaust manifold (16). The exhaust manifold comprises a gas manifold chamber (34) connected to a common exhaust gas evacuation orifice (36). Each evacuation channel comprises an inlet orifice (18) connected to the combustion chamber and an outlet orifice (30) which discharges into the cylinder head face (28) and is connected to the exhaust manifold. Each cylinder head outlet orifice discharges directly into the manifold chamber and the evacuation channels converge so that their outlet orifices are adjacent to one another.
