Artificial vision system with finite elements in three dimensions for robots, image modelling or automatic driving of vehicles, uses pyramidal segmentation derived from net representation of image to represent three-dimensional image
The artificial vision system takes an image from a single source and reconstructs the image in three dimensions, using a pyramidal segmentation method making use of a formula calculating a net representation of the image and a contour location formula. The image is gathered by an analog or digital camera and delivered to a computer for processing.
