The wind break consists of artificial trees made from recycled plastics and other materials, designed to simulate local trees such as palms. Each tree has a base (4) that is buried in thr ground, a trunk made from one or more pipe sections (2, 3) filled with sand, and a top (1) with holes (6) for inserting artificial palm leaves or branches. The trunk sections can be cut in half lengthwise for ease of transport and held together when assembled with the aid of used tyres.
