Automatic vehicle gearbox has drive shaft connected directly to second planet set sun wheel and via first coupling to first planet set sun wheel and/or via second coupling to first set bridge
The gearbox is of a new type and has three single-bridge planet sets (2-4), three brakes and two couplings (8,9) for changing six forward gears and one reverse gear. The drive shaft is connected directly to the sun wheel (16) of the second planet set and via the first coupling to the sun wheel (12) of the first planet set and/or via the second coupling to the bridge (15) of the first planet set. The sun wheel of the first planet set can be connected to the gearbox housing via the first brake (5) and/or the bridge in the first planet set can be connected to the housing via the second brake (6) and/or the sun wheel in the third planet set can be connected to the housing via the third brake (7).
