Engine oil wiper is annular component with annular slot to accommodate oil dipstick tube, and has continuously slotted component for holding, guiding and oil wiping of dipstick, and oil return slot to for return of oil to sump
The engine oil wiper (1) is an annular component (1) with an annular slot (2) to accommodate the oil dipstick tube (7). The component for holding, guiding and oil wiping of the dipstick (8) is continuously slotted. An oil return slot (4) enables the return of oil through the dipstick tube to the engine sump. The oil wiper may be pressed into the oil dipstick tube, and the connection between the oil dipstick holder and return oil slot is angled for better return of oil. Oil wiping is prevented on one side of the dipstick by another slot (6) for oil level reading purposes.
