The double-walled spherical or semispherical collector (6) with a tubular or smooth absorption surface is made of plastic or metal. The collector consists of two or more shells. The water feed (4) is through a ring-form pipe installed uniformly on the shell, with the feed pipes forming flow passages at a tangent to the surface of the sphere. The collector has an additional supply reservoir (7) on the baseplate (2). The collector may have an additional electric heater.
