The connector (1) has a grip section with a pair of half shell sections for engaging around an end section of the cover by joining the half shell sections, a clamp section with a pair of half shell section for clamping the cable exposed at the end section and a clamp protrusion on an inner upper surface of the clamp section for clamping the exposed cable by compressing the cable in a radial direction
