Public transport journey planning method for use with a mobile phone, wherein the start location for the journey is automatically determined from the location of the phone within a mobile phone network cell
Method for defining a travel connection between start and target locations has the following steps: a target address or station is transmitted from a user mobile phone to a service center; the center determines a start location or station from a detected location of the user mobile phone; an optimum travel connection is determined and transmitted to the user phone. The location of the user mobile phone is determined by detecting the mobile phone network cell the phone is in or using other network provider technical measures.
