Driver cabin (10), especially for a lorry or heavy goods vehicle (HGV) has an optimized aerodynamic performance that is achieved based on adjustments of design parameters (A-H) within a predefined range. The parameters are selected so that the resultant cabin shape has an optimal aerodynamic performance. An independent claim is made for a method for aerodynamic optimization of the shape of a driver cabin in which the aerodynamic effect of individual design parameters is analyzed in wind tunnel tests and then optimum values of the parameters are selected within a defined range in order to minimize the overall cabin wind resistance coefficient.
