Method for fitting connections to duct without trapped spaces has the duct clamped between two shaped grips and with a hole to guide the boring tool and with accurate positioning of the connecting duct
A method for fitting connecting ducts to a main duct without trapped spaces has the main duct gripped between two shaped grips with a guide hole for a boring tool. The bored hole is threaded and a connecting tube is threaded into the duct. By counting the number of turns and/or by viewing a marking on the connecting tube and accurate fit is obtained, with the shaped inner end of the connecting tube flush with the main duct. The connection is secured by bonder.
