Fire break for air ducts comprises plate with at least one housing on outside wall of air duct to hold closing mechanism and with an opening in wall of air duct which is not as wide as plate to keep out dirt
The fire break comprises a plate (2) for shutting off the air flow in the air duct. The plate has at least one housing (6) set on the outside wall of the air duct to hold a closing mechanism (5) for the plate. An opening in the wall of the air duct in the region of the housing has a smaller width than the width of the plate. The plate is attached to at least a swivel joint (3) in the region of the inside wall of the air duct.
