Safety-oriented device for connection of field-appliances to field-bus e.g. for control and instrumentation systems, has field bus module provided with safety-oriented field-bus interface for connection to supervisory system
A safety oriented device has at least one field-bus connection module (1) for the connection of at least one field device (5) via a safety oriented field -bus (2) to a supervisory system (4) for safety-oriented data transmission. The field-bus module (1) has a safety-oriented field-bus interface (10) for connection to the supervisory system (4), is connected to a microcontroller (20) the latter being connected to a safety-oriented device interface (30) for connection of the field-device and the safety-oriented device interface (30) has devices aimed at realizing safety demands at the field-bus.
