The device has a locking device (4,7) that can be locked when the door (1) is closed and unlocked electrically. The locking device has an electrically operated door opener (4) and a catch (7) mechanically operated by a key. The catch engages the door opener to lock the closed door and is disengaged by electrically operating the door opener, only possible from outside the room, or mechanically operating the catch to unlock the door.
