Filter for gaseous or fluid medium in vehicles comprises closed container of granular filter material pre-stressed by tension means comprising small particles of special material e.g. elastic foam
The filter comprises a closed container containing granular filter material which is pre-stressed by tension means of which at least a part is formed as small particle special material such as elastic foam distributed through the volume of material inside the filter material (2). The special tension material (1) exerts a tension force on the granular filter material in all operating states of the filter. The special elastic foam can transfer its tension force to the filter material by enlarging its volume.
