The lathe, fitted with at least two cutters (6) in an even or uneven number, has a tool slide (1) with a polygonal frame (2) on two linear ball runners (3), with a center hydraulic or ball/screw drive (4) between them. The frame supports at least two tool carriers (11-13), with drives and path movement monitor systems.
