In combination with compressor units, wind energy equipment converts wind energy that occurs into storable compressed air, in order to make it available in underground air caverns for later use irrespective of the time when it was generated. Multiple underground air caverns are operated in various stages of pressure and are interlinked beneath the sea to remove compressed air from ashore. An Independent claim is also included for a system for commercial production of compressed air energy from regenerative wind energy to be stored in underground air caverns beneath the North and Baltic Seas.
