Texts are divided into parts and represented as single consonants, open syllables, inter punctuation and other symbols. Single consonants and symbols are taken up in enciphering unaltered. Open syllables are replaced by encryption words or images with corresponding syllable prominent. Consonants and syllables are in card format or prestored in computer memory connected to keyboard. Open syllables are replaced by encryption words or images marked on encryption cards, which can be laid on table or attached to wall to build up text sequence. Computer keyboard or typewriter has additional keys with graphic representations of the open syllables. Additional keys are connected to memory, printer or tone reproduction device to provide spoken sound for consonants and open syllables.
