The present invention relates to an x-ray calibrating phantom (rp) with of a a position sensing system (30) detectable markers (4). The present invention also relates to a method for marker-less registration for navigation interventions which is guided with the use of the x-ray calibrating phantom (rp). A medical system for carrying out of the method includes a c - arc - x-ray apparatus (10), a a position sensing system (30) and the x-ray calibrating phantom (rp).
