FIELD: mining.;SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to mining and may be used for forecast of hazards of coal and gas massifs outbursts. The technical result of the invention is an increase of precision of forecasts of outburst hazard of gas and coal massifs at fulfillment of the current forecast of sudden outbursts of coal and gas. For this purpose it is necessary to define the initial velocity of a gas release gн from the control blast-holes drilled on the potentially outburst-prone packs or their assemblage of a coal field before to start a cycle of operations on development of the coal fields. First they determine the ratios K of amplitudes of the high-frequency and low frequency parts of the spectrum of the acoustic vibrations generated by a drilling tool in a coal massif in the process of realization of development. On a base of indications of gн and K they carry out an estimation of gas and coal outburst hazard of a zone of a coal massif. At that uniformly an a step by step determine a complex index of outbursts hazardness P according to the expression P =( gн max ./ 4) + (K max / 3) and consider the a zone of the coal massif as an outburst-hazardous zone, if P≥ 2, and to not -hazardous zone, if P 2.;EFFECT: the invention allows to increase precision of forecasts on outburst hazards of gas and coal massifs.;1 cl, З dwg
