PURPOSE: An apparatus for recording or reading a clock signal while securing a gap between a clock head and a disk for preventing damage of the clock head and the disk, a method therefor, a disk having a structure therefor are provided to improve the quality of servo information. CONSTITUTION: An aluminum substrate is coated with chromium to form a magnetized layer. A magnetic layer is formed on the chromium layer by applying Fe-Ni. A carbon layer is coated on the magnetic layer to protect the magnetic layer. A lubricant layer is coated on the carbon layer. A material(42) changing quantity of reflected light by irradiation of a laser beam is placed at a predetermined position for recording a servo reference clock signal.
