PURPOSE: A system for preventing a calculation omission of an automatic calculation scanning a barcode is provided to prevent the calculation omission in a POS(Point-On-Sale) system executing the calculation by automatically reading a barcode. CONSTITUTION: A scanner reads the barcode of the goods. A POS system(20) calculates the goods by the barcode and processes a reception/payment process. The first goods detection sensor(31) detects the existence of the goods necessary for the calculation. The second and the third goods detection sensor(32,33) detect the existence of the goods passing the POS system. A monitoring camera(40) monitors a goods advancing path on a calculation desk. A main controller(50) controls an operation of the scanner, the first, the second and the third sensor, and a conveyor, sounds an alarm in case that the barcode scan is abnormal, and informs the abnormal to a remote monitor system. The remote monitor system(60) monitors an image around the calculation desk by receiving the image of the monitoring camera.
