PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus are provided to allow output voltage to have a size corresponding to the size of the command voltage by calculating the vector apply time in consideration of the voltage unbalance upon occurrence of the voltage unbalance of the DC link capacitor voltage. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step(501) of setting a voltage vector apply time for generating output voltage of each phase; a second step(503) of monitoring the output voltage generated in the first step and neutral point voltage; a third step(505) of adjusting the voltage vector apply time to a single sampling cycle based on the change of the output voltage and neutral point voltage; and a fourth step(507) of outputting voltage in accordance with the adjusted voltage vector apply time.
