METHOD FOR SUPPLYING SERIAL COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL ANALYSIS FUNCTION IN PORTABLE TERMINAL, REALIZED BY ADDING SERIAL COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL ANALYSIS MODE TO DEVELOPER MODE OF THE PORTABLE TERMINAL
PURPOSE: A method for supplying a serial communication protocol analysis function in a portable terminal is provided to further add a serial communication protocol analysis mode to a developer mode of a portable terminal, to obtain all signals transceived through serial communication in real time, thereby clearly displaying all signal states in the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A system enters a developer protocol display mode through a menu of a portable terminal connected with a computer through serial communication. The system displays an initial state of the serial communication on a screen, waits for a signal from the computer, and executes an inner data communication processing. When a signal for data communication processing results is transmitted to the computer, the system updates a currently set serial communication state, and displays the updated state for a user. If a signal is applied from the computer, the system updates the serial communication state by an interrupt, and displays the updated state for the user.
