PURPOSE: A flash type automatic target machine is provided to enable target practice at night and improve the effect of target practice by capable of moving a luminous body and a target horizontally. CONSTITUTION: A flash type automatic target machine is composed of a flashing unit(40) having a luminous body, a control unit(62) for controlling the lighting and brightness of the luminous body, a lifting unit operated by an electric control and moving the luminous body up and down in front of a target(22), and a horizontal moving unit. The lifting unit includes a support unit(48) for supporting the luminous body, and an actuator(52) for rotating the support unit to move the luminous body up and down. The horizontal moving unit moves the target and the luminous body right and left according to an electric control, and includes a driving motor(56), a rail(57) on which a base frame(54) slides, a rack(58) and a pinion(59) for moving the base frame right and left according to the rotation of the driving motor.
