PURPOSE: A method for processing an abnormal call in an intelligent network service of a WCDMA UMTS mobile phone network is provided to prevent the problem of billing with respect to an error in using a service and degradation of the quality of a call. CONSTITUTION: When a call is originated from an origination subscriber and it satisfies a certain trigger condition, an MSC transmits a triggering process request message(InitialIP)(S100). If there is no response to the triggering process request message and time is out, a call release procedure is performed(S101). If a call process procedure is performed without a problem, an announcement is transmitted(S102). If the MSC does not receive a message that the call is not subjected for a discount(FurnishChargingInformation) from an SCP and time is out or if the MSC receives the message that the call is not subjected for a discount(FurnishChargingInformation) from an SCP(S103) but fails to receive a continue message and time is out, a call release procedure is performed with a pre-set default call process value(DefaultCallHandling)(S104).
