摘要

PURPOSE: A direction-based CBT(Core Based Tree) configuration method for CBT-based overlay multicast is provided to confirm a state of a corresponding node, and to reconfigure a CBT according to a confirmed state value. CONSTITUTION: An optional end node requests child node information which is previously registered in a core node to be received. The end node calculates directionality between the end node and each child node, and transmits information on a child node of the core node having a minimal result value to the core node with a subscription request message. The core node compares the calculated result value about the directionality with a calculated result value about directionality between pre-registered child nodes, and registers the end node as a parent node or a child node, then configures a CBT. The core node and the end node transceive a hello packet with the parent node, the child node, and a brother node, confirm states of each node, and reconfigure the configured CBT.
