METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTERNALLY APPLYING HIGH INTENSIVE FOCUSED ULTRA-SONIC WAVE(HIFU) TO PERFORM MEDICAL TREATMENT, BY ENHANCING PRECISION AND EFFECT IN PROCEDURE FOR USING HIFU
PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for externally applying high intensive focused ultra-sonic wave(HIFU) to perform a medical treatment, to enhance the precision in the procedure for using HIFU; to increase the effect of the procedure, to decrease the risk in the procedure, and to expand the range and variety of medical status to be processed by HIFU. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for performing the medical treatment using the high intensive focused ultra-sonic wave comprises a beacon(20) for being applied to be arranged at a relevant part in the body and one or more set of ultra-sonic wave transducer(30). Each transducer(30) detects each beacon signal introduced from the beacon(20), and the apparatus for performing the medical treatment outputs the ultra-sonic wave signal at reversed time as to one or more features of the beacon signal. The set of the transducer(30) is applied to the surface(22) of the relevant body.
