PURPOSE: A fertilizer composition containing yeast culture is provided to produce rice with high quality, increased calcium content and resistance against bacterial blight. CONSTITUTION: The fertilizer for producing high quality rice comprises 10% of yeast culture for activating microbes in soil and preventing growth of weeds, 24% of ultra-calcium and 50% of calcium hydroxide for neutralizing soil acidity and improving stickiness and taste of rice, 7% of sodium bicarbonate for supplying carbonate gas, magnesium sulfate for promoting photosynthesis, diatomaceous earth, boric acid, and L-lysine HCl for preventing rice blight. The yeast culture is obtained by the following steps of: mixing rice bran, glucose and vegetable extracts and containing 50-60% of moisture; culturing the mixture at 30-40deg.C for 7days; mixing for 5min when the temperature at the center of mixture arrives at 65-75deg.C and culturing for 3days; drying cultured mixture under the shade; passing products through with a 1.7mm sieve. The produced rice has an increase of calcium content by 25-53%.
