PURPOSE: An assembling method of a stay is provided to increase supporting performance of the stay by maximizing the number of strands by stays, to reduce air resistance by enabling use of the stay with a small diameter, and to protect reinforcements from irruption of external circumferences. CONSTITUTION: An assembling method of a stay includes an inclined outer cover(5) and parallel reinforcements(4) installed in the outer cover and each fixed to first and second anchor areas(16a,16b). The reinforcements comprise plural groups comprising reinforcements of N more than one. The assembling method of the stay includes steps of compacting the installed reinforcements at one end or both ends of the outer cover; making the reinforcements of the next group slide along the inside of the outer cover into a space remaining by the compacted reinforcements; extending each reinforcement of the group between the first and second anchor areas to make the installed reinforcements have uniform tension; and repeating the first step to the third step until the installation of the reinforcements is completed.
