PURPOSE: Provided is a water conditioning agent being capable of completely removing chlorine residue and conditioning hard water to soft water, wherein the water conditioning agent is a ceramic ball, a ceramic grain or a compressed carbon. CONSTITUTION: The agent is prepared by mixing ceramic raw material, Na5P3O10, sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, poly bean alcohol (diluent), and vitamin C; heating the mixture at a temperature of 700 to 1000 deg.C; and moulding the mixture to a feature of ball, thereby producing ceramic balls, ceramic grains or compressed carbon.
