PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing the width difference in connection part of preceding strip and following strip is provided to improve productivity and reduce cost by cutting the width difference of preceding strip having the minimum width and following strip having the maximum width in a tapered shape at the same time. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for reducing width difference of preceding strip and following strip of continuous strip production process which is installed in rear of welding machine in the continuous strip production process to reduce the connection width difference of the preceding strip and the following strip so that strip (S) is smoothly proceeded, the apparatus comprises upper and lower supporting rollers(120,121) installed in a width direction of the strip at one side of base(110) installed under the strip (S); transfer blocks(130) respectively installed at both sides of another side of the base(110) in such a way that the transfer blocks(130) are moved in the width direction of the strip by a moving means; a cutter housing(150) rotationally installed at one side of the transfer blocks(130); and cutters(160) installed at both sides of the cutter housing(150).
