PURPOSE: An automatic converter of an LCD back light using a 3-color LED is provided to vary the color of the LCD back light variously by controlling turning on/off of the 3-color LED. CONSTITUTION: An automatic converter of an LCD back light using a 3-color LED includes a unique signal generator(11), a mobile station modem(12), a switching circuit(13), and an LCD back light(14). The unique signal generator generates a unique signal for determining the color of the LCD back light. The mobile station modem outputs a switching control signal for controlling the switching on/off operation of each switch constructing the switching circuit according to the unique signal. The switching circuit is composed of a plurality of switches and turns on/off the 3-color LED. The LCD back light is composed of the 3-color LED and turned on/off according to the switching circuit to express various colors through an LCD window(15) of a mobile communication terminal.
