A password notification method includes a step of creating an access key and a URL corresponding to the access key and checking the access key and storing them in a storage unit upon reception of a mail address from a user terminal, a step of transmitting the generated access key and URL separately to a user by the mail of the received mail address destination or other means, a step of deciding whether a predetermined condition including at least the correspondence between the received access key and the URL is satisfied when the access key has been received from the user terminal corresponding to the access to the URL for checking the access key, and a step of encrypting a password and notifying it to the user terminal if the predetermined condition is satisfied. Thus, the access key and the URL for checking the access key are notified separately to the user by different means. Accordingly, even if one of them is acquired by a third person, the password will not leak and remain safe.
