Disclosed is a superconductor structure (2) comprising a biaxially textured nickel support (3), an intermediate layer system (6) which is deposited on the support and is provided with at least two intermediate cerium oxide layers (4, 5) that are applied one after another, and a superimposed high-TC superconducting layer (7) of type (RE)M2Cu3Ox (in which RE represents a rare earth and M represents an alkaline earth metal). The first intermediate layer (4) is subjected to an oxygen treatment before the second intermediate layer (5) is deposited.
