Support for saw blades in a device for measuring and correcting the tension profile of an elongated saw blade, in particular for band saws, with a roller path on which the saw blade (10) can be moved in a direction of movement (A) that essentially coincides with its longitudinal extension, characterized in that the roller path has axle bodies (162) with rotating support, which extend over the entire width of the roller path and which have rolling rings (170) axially adjustable, which by means of prestressed interlocking bodies (174) are fitted in grooves (176, 178) of the corresponding shaft body (164) and thus are fixed in both axial positions that are chosen and connected to the shaft body (162) to rotate together with it.
