The preparation of canned preserved e.g. game comprises skinning and boning, for cutting into hexahedral 3-cm side length meat sections. Also claimed is the product of the process. CLAIMED PRODUCT - The product is formed in 2-kg preserving cans also containing vegetable oil (30-70 per cent by weight of the meat weight), which is sealed, for sterilization and freezing in a chamber at 0-4 degrees C. EMBODIMENT - The cans are finally labelled and stored prior to despatch.
