A structural joint for the transmission and control of large current flows in a composite structure of carbon fiber or hybrid carbon fiber material, said attachment comprising: at least two composite structures (1, 2) comprising a multiplicity layers of carbon fiber bonded with resin, an adhesive (3) applied in between and capable of conducting high currents through and out of the binding, said adhesive (3) a carrier conductive film comprising carbon fibers, wherein the electrical conductivity of the adhesive is comparable with that of the adjacent composite structures.
