The method for treating the intra-articular fractures of the heel bone provides for the reposition assisted with special device followed by fixation. The reposition is performed by screwing the self-tapping rod with the thread for the spongy bone into the fragment of the heel bone with the posterior articular process. The end of the rod is placed at the distance of 0.3-0.5 cm from the obturating plate of the articular surface of the displaced posterior articular process. The longitudinal, transversal, and angular shifts are corrected. Ilizarov apparatus is mounted with the ring in the lower third of the shin and the half-ring at the level of the metatarsus. The ring and the half-ring are connected with the bars, the cantilevers, and the bolts. The foot is placed into the neutral position. Finally, the posterior unit of the apparatus fixing the reposing rod is mounted to the base ring of the shin.
