The method for reconstructing the upper lip in the patients with the congenital bilateral cleft connecting the upper lip and the palate comprises the stage-by-stage reconstructive surgery of the upper lip. Each stage comprises the reconstruction of the orbicular muscle of the mouth within the upper third of the maxilla by formation of the vestibule of the mouth and the periosteoplasty of the alveolar process.
