PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service broadcast optimum view providing device for digital broadcasting by which a viewer can view detailed commercial programs in digital broadcasting at any time and can return to a video image of a main broadcast program at a point of time when the viewer views the detailed commercial program. SOLUTION: A computer 14 of the service broadcast optimum view providing device 10 has a display/storage/reproduction switching processing section 18 and allows the section 18 to display an icon for capturing the detailed commercial program on a screen of a TV 11 while a viewer views a TV commercial of a selected main broadcast program Ai and to display the detailed commercial program resulting in storing the main broadcast program Ai to an HDD, or to create a book for later viewing of the detailed commercial program or to reproduce and display the main broadcast Ai in the HDD or the detailed commercial program depending on the selection by the viewer using a remote command controller 15.
