PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer numerical control (CNC) tooth cutting machine tool by means of five simultaneous working spindles for a surface envelope type toroidal worms, which accurately manufactures the worms, and further to improve the productivity and reduce a cost.;SOLUTION: The CNC tooth cutting machine tool has a machine body and a control cabinet. The machine body is provided with a bed 1, a spindle box 2 with a spindle, a longitudinal slide table 3, a lateral slider, a vertical bed slideway provided on the slider, and a tailstock 7. A tool rest for supporting a rotary cutter head is arranged on the vertical bed slideway. The spindle rotates about its A-axis. The table slides in the longitudinal direction along the Y-axis with respect to the bed. The tool head rotates about its B-axis and shifts in the lateral direction along the X-axis and in the vertical direction along the Z-axis of the vertical bed slideway.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
