PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate the distillation lees of sweet potato white liquor effectively to a solid portion and liquid portion, using the solid portion as a raw material for a health food material, and utilizing the liquid portion as a health beverage.;SOLUTION: The health food and beverage are obtained by adding a cellulase enzyme and either one of ≤30 wt. % of rice malt or wheat malt or a mixture of the rice malt and wheat malt to the distillation lees of the sweet potato white liquor, or without adding, performing a solubilization treatment, then separating solid and liquid portions, then drying the solid portion to make the health food material and filtering the liquid portion with a hollow fiber membrane to use as the health beverage as it is or after sterilization. As the health beverage, the liquid portion is used as it is, by concentrating it or by adding a sweetener to it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
