PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enantiotropically storing and holding a color development state and a color extinguishing state in an optical color change accessory element, and an enantiotropic color memory optical color change accessory utilizing the method.;SOLUTION: The enantiotropic color memory optical color change accessory comprises the accessory element provided with a optical color change layer containing a photochromic compound having a light memory function (color memory optical color change property) for developing a color and maintaining the color developing state by irradiation with ultraviolet rays or sunlight including the ultraviolet rays and extinguishing the color and shifting to the color extinguishing state by the irradiation with visible light, and a color conversion means containing an ultraviolet ray absorbent and/or a light shielding pigment shielding at least the ultraviolet rays for cutting the ultraviolet rays of the sunlight, extinguishing the color of the photochromic compound in the color developing state by the irradiation with the visible light, shifting it to the color extinguishing state and maintaining it. The color conversion means is arranged under a contact or non-contact state to the optical color change layer, and a function of enantiotropically storing and holding the color developing state and the color extinguishing state is presented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
