PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent indentation and the slippage of a work by eliminating protrusion of a coating material and hanging-down of punched scraps when punching a work.;SOLUTION: The punch die 1 for punch presses is provide with a punch body 9 which is fit in a cylindrical punch guide 7 freely vertically movably and is upward energized. A stripper plate 41 is provided on the head surface of the punch guide 7 and a pair of chip housing holes 47 which are opposed across a punching hole 45 are provided on the stripper plate 41. A taper surface 49 for guiding chips which is inclined in the direction which separates from the vicinity of the punching hole 45 is provided in each chip housing hole 47. A press chip 53 can be housed in the housing hole 47 and the slidable taper surface 51 of the chip is provided on the taper surface 49 for guiding the chip. The press tip 53 is always energized in the direction in which the bottom surface of the press tip 53 is downward projected from the head surface of the punch guide 7 with an elastic member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
