Slide for an interlocking fastener has a locking tab on the end of a locating bar that has a leaf spring acting on a slot punched in the bar and where the pull tab lifts spring to release tab
The slider has a body with engagement channel (205) for two halves of toothed tape. A bar (21) with central slot (211) has an end tab (212) extending through a hole (203) in the body and can lock into the teeth. The bar is pressed into engagement by a leaf spring (22) held by a cover (23). A pull handle (24) is connected to the body and when lifted it pivots to raise the spring and release tab. The slider may be painted and have a pattern or trademark on the pull handle.
