The cementation of steel components consists of generating a pressure impulse in a cementation furnace (1) by sending a volumetric flow rate (V) of a cementation medium. This volumetric flow rate is regulated during one pressure impulse and controlled by modifying it in a manner to obtain a regular cementation of the component.
