摘要

The dispersion control mechanism has optical waveguides (3.1 to 3.m) with internal Bragg gratings (B1 to Bm). A common electrode (4.1 to 4.m) is formed on one side of waveguide, and several individual electrodes (E1.i to Em.n) on the other side. All the electrodes are connected to an electrical control device. The Bragg grating spatial period is tuned along the waveguide to different spectral components of the input pulse.
